About

African businesses deserve infrastructure that expects the worst — and keeps running anyway.

Our story

7eleven was founded in Kigali in 2023 to close a gap our founders had lived with for two decades: African enterprises depending on distant, foreign cloud regions for the most critical thing they own — their ability to recover.

Fibre cuts, currency controls, cross-border data laws, and the plain reality that a data center 8,000 kilometers away belongs to someone else's economy. We started 7eleven to build the redundancies our continent actually needs, inside the countries our customers operate in.

Today we operate sovereign data centers in Rwanda, Cameroon, Ghana and Namibia. Each region is independently operated, independently powered, and independently governed — connected by a private backbone we designed for cross-border disaster recovery without cross-border exposure.
